  • I lived in Va for awhile and couldn't believe people's immobility when it snowed. It wasn't because the streets were any worse than in Chicago, its because people saw snow and freaked out. In Chicago, people deal with the snow (maybe with a little complaining, but you still go about your business).

  • McCain08 - do you know how tax brackets work? Its not the entire amount taxed at a higher rate, just whatever is over the tax bracket cutoff. So if "Joe" made $280k a year (roughly what I make), he would be taxed $257 more per year.
